Replacement if your front glass is cracked, chipped, or any other defect. This is a screen only replacement and not the LCD or digitizer assembly. This is a separate piece that covers the LCD. If your glass is the only thing that is broken you will not need the full LCD assembly replaced. The glass can be replaced by carefully heating the adhesive with a heat gun or hair dryer until it becomes pliable. It can then be separated with the optional repair tools.
